Unity’s 2-year support cycle for LTS 2018 has officially ended.
As of August 2021, DE Environment will migrate all future updates in unity Assets Store editor versions 2019.4.14 and or higher. We highly recommend all DE Environment users consider upgrading to insure the most stable version for your projects and productions.
We are excited to keep providing the latest features to our customers and look forward to maximizing stability entering this new cycle.
What New?
Official downloads with Unity 2019.4.14 or higher.
Unity 2019.4.14 and or higher adds hundreds of improvements permitting DE Environment to bring even more advance features to our customers improving quality-of-life with more optimization, better shaders and tools.
What does this mean for Unity 2018 users?
DE Environment will now only be downloaded directly from Unity asset store from 2019.04.14 or higher. Unity 2018 user may still port the shaders back into 2018 if needed or registered users may also download directly from our Beta Program. All Standard shaders should still work in 2018 as before, however official support will be tested for 2019.4.14 or higher.
Supported Unity Render Pipelines:
DE Environment is made up of two different shader sets called “DE Shaders” and “DEC Shaders”. DE Shaders are the most advance and largest set with DEC a smaller set commonly used to support 3rd party asset developers.

We work to bring the latest unity versions available following Unity’s new package lifecycle for official pre-release into official release when possible & or subject to technical progress within Unity. SRP API levels from “pre-release” may be archived when Unity’s “official release” is present.
